Reporter: What was your overall take away from the conversation? “My overall take away from the conversation was I heard him talking about things that he did for black people back in the day. But, you know, what have you done for me lately? Is my motto. You know, I see black communities all across America catching hell regardless of who is in the White House. People like to bring up Coronavirus and how it’s hitting black people the hardest. Well, that is because we have a bunch of underlying conditions created by systemic racism that have never been fixed. And you know, like I said before—if you created legislation that hurt you have to create legistlation that helps. It is just that simple. The whole system needs to be dismantled and rebuilt. And he has been a very intricate part of that system. ... It is just that simple. He has a black agenda called the lift every voice plan. And, I mean, there are some cool things in there but I still think it could be much stronger.”
“As far as the president is concerned he is our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not be approved by the scientists. Especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group. Morbidly obese, they say. So I think it’s not a good idea.”
Biden: “If they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn't vote for me. I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade.”
