Guests mingled, hugged and kissed on the cheek, most without wearing masks. An indoor reception followed the outdoor ceremony. Seven days later, at least eight people who attended the ceremony have tested positive for the coronavirus, including the president. Several more of the president's closest aides and advisers have also tested positive.
Corona virus has killed over 200,000 Americans at this point.
Asked why Covid cases are spiking in many states, WH adviser Peter Navarro claims that “the assumption I think among most people in the medical community was gonna be that heat & humidity was gonna make this subside during the summer.“ (Nobody serious believed that.)
